Uniting the market around knowledge sharing and skills
Following the success of our Insider Progress events series, we are now adding a mentoring programme for our members.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first cross-industry mentoring scheme launched by a trade publication. We are aiming to unite all corners of the market around knowledge sharing and skills development, and hope that it will facilitate cross-market collaboration in building a vibrant London market.
What is our mentoring programme?
Our programme will connect individuals in the industry who have specific skills and knowledge (mentors) with individuals (mentees) who need or want the same skills and advantages to move up in work performance and skill level. Our programme will help mentees develop new skills. For the mentor it serves as a way to give back and can also be a learning experience.

A mentee may want to work on building self-confidence, developing professional and winning tools or sharpening critical thinking skills and knowledge. People can become mentees at almost any age. Being a great mentee means being dedicated to learning and practicing new skills. The more work you put into the relationship with your mentor, the more you will get out of it.
As a mentor you will have the opportunity to use your experience and knowledge in a facilitative manner to support the development of the mentee. The responsibility for making things happen and putting plans into action lies primarily with the mentee - not with you.
*Number of mentees and mentors paired on the first rotation will depend on how many commit to the programme. Should we become oversubscribed you will be moved to the following rotation and be informed when you have been matched with a mentor/mentee.
Join the conversation, and become part of a movement that will help companies prepare their workforce for tomorrow.
